Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat McGroin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Cutting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pat McGroin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Cutting!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutting lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Pat McGroin has been cut.
Bill Cutting seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGroin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cutting moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGroin swinging wildly here.
Cutting misses with a left hand
and McGroin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oooooh!!! Cutting has knocked McGroin down with a huge combo! Cutting steps away and waves a wobbly McGroin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
McGroin is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGroin defending well as Cutting loads up on a big left hand.
Oh McGroin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and McGroin counters with a three punch combo that has Cutting backing up. Cutting nods at McGroin to acknowledge the strikes.
McGroin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cutting.
McGroin seems to have got his legs back now.

Cutting doesn't manage to clinch there - McGroin circles away.
Cutting cracks McGroin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cutting has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McGroin to stand back up!

Cutting wants to clinch up but McGroin keeps it at a distance.

McGroin walks straight into a right hand from Cutting - that's dropped him! Cutting jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McGroin from any more punishment! McGroin complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bill Cutting!
