Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Victory by Viking Quest. Silva has chosen 'Be Myself' by Charlie Brown Jr. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Diego Silva acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Silva!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chase throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Chase fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Chase is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Chase has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Silva tries to score a body lock takedown but Chase shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Chase prevents a body shot from Silva.
Knees in the clinch landing for Silva.
Chase tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.

Chase is trying to trip Silva. He has hold of a leg but Silva is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chase persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Chase is breathing heavily.
Chase has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chase's guard.

Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chase does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chase!

Chase tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Silva prevents Chase from getting the reversal.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chase turns into him and now he's in Silva's guard.
Chase tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.

It looks like Chase is going to stand back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva wants to control the action here but instead Chase manages to pass to full mount!
Chase cracks Silva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Silva tries to reverse the position but Chase maintains control.
Silva wants to hold on but Chase pushes him away.
Silva regains half guard.
Silva wants to improve his position but Chase is controlling well.
Silva is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chase scores with a couple of nice shots.
Chase is tying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Chase has latched onto it... Big trouble! Chase pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Silva is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Chase!
