Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clark Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clark Bowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christopher Tua! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowers pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tua is out of range and Bowers settles back down. Bowers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tua as he jumps to the side. Some wild striking there from Tua.
Tua circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bowers takes the fight into the clinch. Bowers tries to break free but Tua pushes him back against the cage. Bowers is looking for a takedown. Tua is trying to break free. Nice body punch from Bowers - that landed with a thud.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers jumps guard but Tua turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clark Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tua is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bowers to keep the fight standing. Bowers wants to get back to striking at distance but Tua won't allow it.
Tua wants to stall.
Bowers working hard to break the clinch. Tua letting Bowers take a breather here. A quick uppercut on the inside from Bowers. Tua lands a knee to the head.
Bowers pulls guard successfully.
Bowers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tua avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowers tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bowers pushes Tua off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bowers shoots in for a double leg but Tua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bowers misses with a takedown attempt - Tua sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bowers is looking to chop away at Tua's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bowers. Bowers is breathing heavily. Tua clobbers Bowers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Clark Bowers has been cut. Tua throws an off balance right hand
and Bowers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bowers. Tua fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bowers tries to pull guard but Tua holds him up against the cage and eventually Bowers drops back down to his feet.
Bowers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tua stalls. Tua is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bowers is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bowers fails with the takedown and Tua counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bowers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bowers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tua swivels and escapes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bowers takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Tua avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Christopher Tua will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Clark Bowers's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tua throws a lazy right hand but Bowers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bowers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tua manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bowers darts in and clinches Tua up against the cage. Bowers successfully pulls guard.
Tua must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bowers wants to sweep here but Tua controlling him for the moment. Bowers looking to control.
Tua trying to control but Bowers is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tua decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bowers, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers moves into the clinch. Tua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A shot to the liver by Bowers. Beautiful body shot. Christopher Tua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice takedown defense from Tua. No joy for Bowers on that attempt. Bowers shoots for a takedown but Tua saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tua stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clark Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bowers is defended easily by Tua.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tua throws a lazy right hand but Bowers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice uppercut lands for Tua. That snapped Bowers's head back.

Bowers tries to clinch but Tua moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers tries a head kick but it misses.
Clark Bowers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bowers fails with the takedown and Tua counters with a left and a right... And another left! Bowers is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christopher Tua!
