Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Baishel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konrad Baishel is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Konrad Baishel! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baishel swats away the attempt to clinch by Riley. Riley tries for a takedown but Baishel circles away easily and Baishel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Baishel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Riley is just riding it out for now. Baishel eventually gives up the hold. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Baishel in particular looking to stall. Baishel is thwarting Riley's attempts to control the position. The ref stands the fighters back up. Dallas Riley wasn't doing enough on the ground. Riley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Baishel looking to pass the guard. Riley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Baishel is aware though and is defending well. Riley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Konrad Baishel has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Riley fails with the takedown and Baishel counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baishel's corner is telling him to maintain position. Riley keeping full guard, as Baishel tries to pass. Riley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Baishel pushing down on Riley's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Riley tries to roll over but Baishel keeps him under control.

Baishel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Baishel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Riley defends it well. Baishel wants to control but Riley is keeping him busy. Riley looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Riley is breathing heavily. Baishel stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Let's hope that Baishel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baishel dives in and grabs Riley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Riley pushes down on Baishel's head and hops out. Baishel gets a double leg takedown into Riley's guard. Baishel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Riley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Baishel is stalling in the full guard. Riley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Baishel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riley to the mat! Riley manages to get full guard. Baishel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. That's two minutes gone in the round. Baishel slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Baishel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Riley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Baishel goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Riley rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Baishel's guard! Nice work there by Riley! Riley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baishel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Baishel slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Baishel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Riley manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baishel showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Riley working a defensive guard but Baishel manages to pass into side control anyway.
Baishel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riley keeps working. Baishel tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Riley tries to buck Baishel off but Baishel is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Konrad Baishel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Riley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Baishel to score an easy takedown into full guard. Baishel advances to half guard. Baishel is looking for a kimura but Riley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baishel to get the leverage. Konrad Baishel has got the better of the ground game so far. Baishel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Riley keeps control of the position for the meantime. Baishel trying to control the pace. Riley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Baishel is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dallas Riley. Baishel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Riley preventing the sweep. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Riley works his way back into a safe position though.

Baishel slips out almost immediately though and dives into Riley's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Baishel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Baishel is stalling in the full guard. Riley working for a triangle but Baishel defends it easily.
Baishel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley keeping moving, preventing Baishel from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Riley throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Baishel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Konrad Baishel. Baishel throws a jab but it's blocked by Riley. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baishel throws out a loose jab but Riley uses good head movement to avoid it. Baishel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Riley was covering up waiting for the punch and Baishel finishes the takedown easily into guard. Baishel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Riley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Baishel has Riley in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Konrad Baishel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Baishel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
