Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Max Pain was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez dodges the punch combination from Pain.
Fernandez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pain but Pain pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fernandez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pain avoids it really well and circles away.
Pain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fernandez circles away quickly and effectively.
Pain moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Alex Fernandez has been cut.
Fernandez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Fernandez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fernandez misses with a body punch
and Pain counters with a right hand to the body.
Pain throws a right and a left that Fernandez avoids nicely.

Pain tries to bum rush Fernandez with a series of wild strikes but Fernandez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pain closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fernandez is rocked!
Pain plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Fernandez to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Fernandez just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
