Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Fourie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Jerunkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fourie comes to the cage accompanied by ''Not Afraid'' by Eminem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Fourie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Jerunkel! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fourie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fourie prevents Jerunkel from standing back up.
Fourie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fourie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jerunkel has managed to free his arm - good work. Jerunkel slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fourie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fourie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jerunkel wants to sweep but no luck. Jerunkel pulls Fourie in close to his closed guard and prevents Fourie from doing any damage or advancing position. Jerunkel has his feet on Fourie's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Jerunkel shoots in but no luck this time. Fourie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jerunkel. Fourie has a takedown stuffed. Fourie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jerunkel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jerunkel is in close to Fourie's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fourie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jerunkel throws a big right hand that misses. Jerunkel is looking to stand up but Fourie won't let him. Fourie has his foot on Jerunkel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jerunkel works his way back into a safe position though. Jerunkel throwing strikes but missing. Fourie keeping moving, preventing Jerunkel from controlling successfully. Fourie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jerunkel passes into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fourie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jerunkel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jerunkel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fourie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fourie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jerunkel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jerunkel trying to control but Fourie is working from the bottom. Jerunkel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jerunkel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fourie keeping full guard, as Jerunkel tries to pass. Jerunkel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fourie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jerunkel has managed to get both his arms back between Fourie's legs - danger averted. Jerunkel missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fourie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jerunkel manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jerunkel wants to get back to his feet but Fourie is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jerunkel is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fourie is defending well against a takedown attempt. Alexander Fourie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Jerunkel. This has been an exciting period of action! A frustrated look appears on Jerunkel's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jerunkel has had enough of the clinch but Fourie keeps him there for the moment. Jerunkel tries to score a body lock takedown but Fourie shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jerunkel is trying to drag Fourie to the mat but Fourie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fourie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fourie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Jerunkel dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fourie looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jerunkel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fourie defends it well. Fourie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jerunkel is trying to control the action in half guard but Fourie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Fourie looking for subs from the bottom but Jerunkel mounts him! Fourie wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jerunkel.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jerunkel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Jerunkel decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Horrible takedown by Fourie or perhaps it was just good defense by Jerunkel which made him look bad. Jerunkel shoots in looking for a takedown. Fourie tries to sprawl out of it but Jerunkel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fourie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jerunkel tries to clinch up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fourie with a lazy takedown attempt and Jerunkel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jerunkel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jerunkel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fourie defend it? Jerunkel steps over the head and cranks it - Fourie is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jerunkel!
