Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQuail has chosen Glasgow Kiss as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcello Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Parker McQuail! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McQuail connects with a solid leg kick. McQuail misses with a low kick. Sanchez lands with a nice combination. McQuail backs away looking to recover. A nice combination there by McQuail.
It looks like Marcello Sanchez has been cut. Sanchez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McQuail.
Sanchez misses with a hook. McQuail ducked under it nicely. Some wild striking there from Sanchez.

and McQuail counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McQuail shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanchez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McQuail's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sanchez throws a series of punches but McQuail avoids them all with ease. McQuail moves forwards but Sanchez connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sanchez swinging wildly here.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sanchez. McQuail does a little dance to reset his feet. Marcello Sanchez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McQuail is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sanchez. McQuail defending well as Sanchez loads up on a big left hand. Sanchez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sanchez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McQuail. A slow jab from McQuail misses its intended target. McQuail shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A bone on bone clash there as Sanchez blocks the leg kick.
McQuail takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Some wild striking there from Sanchez.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQuail shoots in and gets a takedown into Sanchez's guard. Sanchez wants to stand but McQuail is controlling the position. McQuail passes into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Sanchez wants to get back to his feet. McQuail looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. McQuail is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is trying to escape back to his feet but McQuail uses the scramble to pass into side control.
McQuail trying to control the action but Sanchez is working from the bottom. McQuail has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Sanchez! McQuail raining down shots from the mount! McQuail working for a guillotine from mount but Sanchez is in no mood to give up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McQuail can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sanchez is looking to escape. Sanchez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sanchez tries to get out of the position. McQuail throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
McQuail controlling the position easily from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanchez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Marcello Sanchez's cut is getting worse. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McQuail is working for a guillotine from mount but Sanchez frees his head quite easily.
McQuail is looking to work his way around to Sanchez's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McQuail with a poor takedown and Sanchez counters with a one-two to the body. Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Marcello Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McQuail fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sanchez is out of range. McQuail fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it. Sanchez misses the body punch and McQuail counters with a two punch combo.
Marcello Sanchez's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. McQuail tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from McQuail. McQuail is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sanchez rather than just go for the knockout. A right-left combo lands from Sanchez. This has been an exciting period of action! Sanchez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McQuail moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Marcello Sanchez is winning the standup battle so far. Sanchez just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McQuail is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sanchez's shoulder. That is not cool. McQuail tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanchez is trying to escape and get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McQuail wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanchez, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Parker McQuail showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marcello Sanchez's cut. That's time! Sanchez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A big mistake from McQuail there, giving up the dominant position! Sanchez is looking to stand up but McQuail won't let him. McQuail is pulling down on Sanchez's head. It's preventing any offense from Sanchez, at least for the moment. Sanchez wants to stand but McQuail has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McQuail is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez wants to stand but McQuail is controlling his posture from full guard. Sanchez wants to stand and escape but instead McQuail has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. McQuail with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McQuail pushes down on Sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sanchez regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from McQuail.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQuail stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Parker McQuail is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but McQuail is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanchez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McQuail controls the pace. Sanchez wants to stand up but McQuail is controlling him. McQuail wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position. McQuail content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Parker McQuail was stalling too much, according to the referee. McQuail swings for the body but Sanchez moves out of range.
McQuail looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McQuail takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McQuail fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sanchez to the ground. McQuail is now in Sanchez's guard. McQuail wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving. McQuail works over Sanchez with some ground and pound from guard. McQuail forces his way into half guard. Sanchez is looking to escape. McQuail wants to free his trapped foot but Sanchez is holding on for dear life with his legs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Parker McQuail comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got McQuail winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
