Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jason scores with a jab to the jaw.
ryan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jason shoots in and bounces ryan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
ryan is working an open guard so Jason takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jason fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jason fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ryan sprawls well initially but Jason persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jason wants to pass to mount but ryan is defending the position.
Jason decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
ryan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jason swats him away and circles back towards the center.
ryan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jason lands with an overhand left.
ryan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dvon Jason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
ryan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jason counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jason is trying to work for a kimura but ryan is defending well.
ryan is not content to let Jason control the position.
Jason thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

ryan pushes Jason off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jason scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Jason fails with a takedown attempt.
Jason works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
ryan feints and as Jason raises his hands in defense, ryan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
ryan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jason's head.

ryan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jason looking to hit a scissor sweep but ryan is one step ahead there.

Jason is really struggling to control ryan but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Jason looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jason pulls ryan in close to his closed guard and prevents ryan from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jason is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jason trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Jason wants to stand up but ryan is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jason holds on and takes a little breather.
ryan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jason fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jason misses with a takedown attempt
and ryan counters with a left and a right that stings Jason.
A shot to de liver by Jason. Beautiful body shot.
Jason misses with a double jab.
Jason misses with the combination.
ryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Jason sprawls well. He's pushed ryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jason closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jason lands in his opponent's guard.
Jason advances to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jason thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed ryan's head.
Jason is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! ryan is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
