Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micky Mcgarry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Micky Mcgarry! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgarry shoots for a takedown but Head saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Head pushes Mcgarry up against the cage in a clinch. Head can't get the takedown.
Mcgarry has Head pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mcgarry pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Head tumbling to the mat - Mcgarry dives into Head's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Mcgarry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Head dives on top into guard. Mcgarry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Head can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcgarry looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcgarry, not yet. Mcgarry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Head defends well. Head will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Head preventing the sweep. Head knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcgarry on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgarry keeping full guard, as Head tries to pass. Mcgarry working for a triangle but Head defends it easily.
Head landing with the ground and pound. Head throws a big elbow that misses. Mcgarry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Head defends it easily. Head landing with the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mcgarry looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Head has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mcgarry has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Head doesn't defend quickly enough and Mcgarry has managed to lock this one up! Can Head escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mcgarry on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Micky Mcgarry! In his post fight interview, Micky Mcgarry started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
