Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Dragonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergei Dragonov!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dragonov is on top in guard.
Dragonov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dragonov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Griffin keeping moving, preventing Dragonov from controlling successfully.
Dragonov wants to pass the guard but Griffin is keeping the position.
Dragonov stopping the sweep attempt from Griffin.
Dragonov wants to control from the top but Griffin keeps moving.
Griffin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dragonov slips nicely into half guard.
Dragonov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Griffin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Griffin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dragonov's guard now.
Dragonov is trying to keep Griffin in close.
Dragonov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dragonov is looking for a triangle but Griffin pushes his legs off easily.

Griffin wanted to stand there but Dragonov had control of the position.
Griffin trying to control but Dragonov is working from the bottom.
Dragonov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Griffin.

Griffin lands some shots froms side control.
Griffin is looking to take a break and control but Dragonov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dragonov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Griffin connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dragonov some visible discomfort.
Griffin stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Dragonov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dragonov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Griffin wants to control from the top but Dragonov keeps moving.
Griffin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dragonov pushes a forearm under Griffin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Griffin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
