Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lynard Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nasir Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drogo has chosen I Don't Like the Look of It as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lynard Carlson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nasir Drogo! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carlson looks to throw a body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Carlson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Drogo misses with a few strikes there.
Drogo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Some wild striking there from Carlson.
Drogo throws a big shot that misses. Drogo tries to move into range but Carlson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A big left from Carlson misses. Carlson misses with a kick to the body.
Drogo lands the left hand. Carlson moves away from the strike by Drogo. A big left from Carlson misses. Jab from Carlson. Carlson tests Drogo's chin there with a solid looking shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Carlson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Carlson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Carlson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Carlson is looking to land body kicks. The fighters circle momentarily. Drogo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Drogo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. No joy there for Drogo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carlson throws a half hearted mid kick. Carlson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Drogo. Carlson cracks Drogo with an open hand slap.
It looks like Nasir Drogo has been cut. Carlson throws a big shot that misses. Carlson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Carlson throws a body kick that misses. A jab lands there for Drogo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carlson stuns Drogo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Carlson thuds his right hand into Drogo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drogo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Carlson cracks the inside of Drogo's front leg. Carlson throws a shot from downtown. Drogo moves away and avoids it. Drogo doesn't manage to clinch there - Carlson circles away.
Drogo throws a hook but Carlson avoids it easily. Carlson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Carlson goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Drogo takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Drogo misses with a looping left. Drogo throws a leg kick but Carlson sees it coming and moves out of range. Drogo walks into a stiff left hand from Carlson. Carlson thows a body shot but no joy. Carlson throws a leg kick but Drogo moved away. Drogo tries to bum rush Carlson with a series of wild strikes but Carlson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Drogo pushes Carlson up against the cage in a clinch. Carlson wants to break free but Drogo has control.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Carlson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Drogo's brow. Carlson unloads a knee to the mid-section. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drogo managing to block the knees to the body from Carlson.

Carlson pushes off an throws an elbow but Drogo leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Drogo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Drogo pressing his opponent against the cage. Carlson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Drogo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Carlson is defending well for now. Drogo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carlson's efforts to push away. Carlson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Drogo misses with an elbow strike.
Carlson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Carlson manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Drogo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carlson throws a push kick but Drogo slaps the foot to one side. Drogo misses with a low kick. Carlson takes one on the chin but seems OK.

A cross from Carlson lands. Carlson cracks Drogo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Drogo pushes Carlson away with a front kick. Carlson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Carlson moves out of range of the leg kick from Drogo. Carlson thows a body shot but no joy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carlson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Drogo's head. Carlson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drogo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson misses with a leg kick and Drogo counters by clinching up. Drogo tries to land knees in the clinch but Carlson avoids the damage to the body. Drogo wants to stall.
A nice right hand lands inside from Carlson. Carlson lands on the inside with an uppercut. Come on Drogo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Carlson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Drogo feints and then cracks Carlson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carlson down. Drogo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Drogo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Drogo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carlson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Drogo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A looping hook to the body misses from Carlson. Drogo does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drogo drops his hands momentarily and Carlson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Drogo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drogo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Drogo has Carlson up against the cage in a clinch.

Carlson scores with a jab to the jaw. Carlson lands a big head kick that sends Drogo tumbling to the mat! Carlson takes a step backwards and waves Drogo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Drogo is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Drogo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Drogo is still on wobbly legs! Can Carlson finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Drogo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Drogo seems to have recovered his senses. Drogo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Carlson - that will leave a mark!
Carlson throws a right and a left that both miss. Carlson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Drogo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A decent looking body kick lands there for Carlson. Nice shot lands for Drogo. Carlson fakes the leg kick and cracks Drogo in the body. Drogo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Carlson. Carlson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. A nice combination there by Carlson.
Carlson lands with an uppercut that bounces Drogo off the cage and back into range.
The cut above Nasir Drogo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carlson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Carlson scores with a kick to the midsection. Carlson lands a right hook to the body.
Carlson throws a quick inside leg kick. Carlson throws a nice inside leg kick. Drogo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Carlson. Carlson obviously looking to wear him down.
Drogo tries to move into range but Carlson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Carlson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carlson throws a leg kick which misses Drogo's front leg but catches the back leg as Drogo tries to avoid it. Drogo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Drogo has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Carlson. Carlson works over Drogo's head and body with a nice combination. Drogo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Lynard Carlson is winning the standup battle so far. Carlson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nasir Drogo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Drogo has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Carlson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Drogo's calf. Drogo throws the left hand but Carlson avoids the punch easily. Carlson cracks Drogo with a right hand to the side of the head. Drogo takes a kick to the side of the head. Drogo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Carlson fails to land with a series of punches.
Drogo misses with a double jab
and Drogo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Drogo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carlson - the referee stops the clock and Drogo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carlson. Drogo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Drogo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Carlson. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carlson.

And that's the end of the fight! Lynard Carlson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Carlson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
