Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Roscrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Thorpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roscrow comes to the cage accompanied by In The Middle Of It Now. Thorpe has chosen Limelight by Rush as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roscrow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thorpe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roscrow somewhat.
Roscrow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thorpe avoids it really well and circles away.
Roscrow misses with a low kick.
Roscrow misses with a takedown
and Thorpe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Perry Roscrow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Thorpe trying to control but Roscrow is working from the bottom.
Thorpe looking to sit in guard and control but Roscrow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Roscrow won't allow Thorpe to get back to his feet.

Roscrow stands up from Thorpe's guard - Roscrow perhaps looking for a knockout.
Roscrow misses with a takedown attempt - Thorpe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roscrow stuffs the takedown attempt from Thorpe. Thorpe gets slowly back to his feet.
Roscrow fails with a takedown attempt.
Roscrow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thorpe's waist but Thorpe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roscrow off to one side.
Thorpe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Thorpe shoots in looking for a takedown. Roscrow tries to sprawl out of it but Thorpe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roscrow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Roscrow gets a takedown into half guard.
Roscrow slows the pace down in half guard.
Roscrow has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Thorpe defend it? Roscrow steps over the head and cranks it - Thorpe is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Roscrow!
