The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kleinschmidt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A solid body kick from Kleinschmidt.
Rene thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rene tests Kleinschmidt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Elroy Kleinschmidt has been cut.
Rene just misses with a punch to the body.
Rene throws a hook but Kleinschmidt blocks it.
Kleinschmidt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kleinschmidt lands in his opponent's guard.

Rene throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kleinschmidt lands with an uppercut that bounces Rene off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Shane Rene has been cut.

Kleinschmidt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rene is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kleinschmidt goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rene. Kleinschmidt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kleinschmidt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rene is breathing heavily.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kleinschmidt! Rene is out on his feet! Kleinschmidt rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rene is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rene is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
