Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lhiner Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Combs blocks a jab.
Shields takes a kick to the side of the head.
Shields wants to clinch
and Combs counters with a nice low kick that buckles Shields's knee momentarily.
Shields tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Combs swivels and escapes.
Shields throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Combs connects with a leg kick. Shields looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Combs.
No luck for Shields with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Shields. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shields shoots in for a double leg but Combs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Combs lands the left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Combs lands a big head kick that sends Shields tumbling to the mat! Combs takes a step backwards and waves Shields back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Shields is rocked!

It looks like Anthony Shields has been cut.
Shields leaves his chin hanging out and Combs seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Shields crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
