Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hughe Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mercadem Muricaten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercadem Muricaten will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hughe Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mercadem Muricaten!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muricaten throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kane's waist but Kane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Muricaten off to one side.
Kane gets caught napping as Muricaten dives in and scores a takedown. Kane manages to retain guard.
Kane controlling the position.
Muricaten wants to get up but he can't break Kane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Muricaten should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kane pushes Muricaten off and gets back to his feet.
Kane closes the distance and clinches.
Muricaten is trying to push Kane away but Kane has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Kane gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Muricaten.
Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Muricaten is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Kane lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane passes into half guard.
Well, if Kane is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Muricaten has hold of Kane's hands but Kane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kane is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muricaten pushes Kane off, looking to escape but Kane dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Muricaten is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hughe Kane!
