Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.
Lu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lu tries a head kick but it misses.
Lu throws a front kick that sends Jackson stumbling back into the cage.
Jackson looks gassed!
Lu looks to clinch

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson.
Lu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jackson wants to stand but Lu is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lu throws a head kick that misses.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lu. Jackson shrugs it off though.

Jackson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jackson avoids the head kick by Lu.
Lu throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.

Lu tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson shoots in and drives through. Lu sprawls well.
Jackson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lu throws the kick towards the body but Jackson avoids it.
Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.
Jackson scores with a body shot.

Jackson clinches up with Lu and pushes him back against the cage.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Lu.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lu kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bo Jackson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
