Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spoon leaves McLeod with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McLeod misses with a takedown attempt - Spoon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Spoon throws a sloppy head kick and McLeod moves out of range easily.
Spoon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McLeod, pushing him back against the cage.
McLeod tries to pull guard but Spoon won't allow it.
John Spoon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam McLeod.
Spoon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spoon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

McLeod drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McLeod jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McLeod goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Spoon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McLeod but great work by Spoon.

McLeod is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Spoon pulls his head out easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McLeod dives in and grabs Spoon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spoon pushes down on McLeod's head and hops out.

McLeod jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spoon walks away with a smile on his face. McLeod gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

McLeod fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Spoon avoids it really well and circles away.

Spoon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McLeod for as long as he can get away with.
