Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masqual misses the shot to the body.
Shogun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Masqual as he jumps to the side.
Masqual misses with a series of wild punches.
Masqual misses with a wild body shot.
Masqual rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shogun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horrible takedown by Shogun or perhaps it was just good defense by Masqual which made him look bad.
Shogun dodges the punch combination from Masqual.
Shogun is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Masqual throws a right hand that Shogun ducks under and follows up with a left that Shogun also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Masqual drops Shogun with a right and a left! Masqual comes rushing in but Shogun regains his composure and manages to keep Masqual in guard.
Shogun is rocked!
It looks like Nilton Shogun has been cut.
Masqual is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Shogun is still in real trouble! Can Masqual finish him?

Masqual won't allow Shogun to sweep him here.
Shogun seems to have recovered his senses.
Masqual wants to control from the top but Shogun keeps moving.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Shogun is striking but Masqual is not phased and passes to half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Masqual uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shogun has time to react.
Shogun pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Masqual misses with the combination.
Masqual throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Shogun stumbling backwards into the cage! Shogun bounces back off the cage towards Masqual, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Masqual lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Masqual celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bennito Masqual!
