The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley is looking to land body kicks.
Daley finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Daley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Some wild striking there from Daley.
Hardcastle shoots in looking for a takedown. Daley tries to sprawl out of it but Hardcastle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Daley punishes Hardcastle's body with a nice straight punch.
Daley throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardcastle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Daley misses with a hook.
Hardcastle tries to clinch but Daley is having none of it.
Daley tries to bum rush Hardcastle with a series of wild strikes but Hardcastle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hardcastle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Daley as he jumps to the side.

Daley swats away the attempt to clinch by Hardcastle.
Daley shoots in for a double leg but Hardcastle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Daley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hardcastle.

Daley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardcastle's head backwards.

Daley looks to land a combination but Hardcastle avoids it well.
Hardcastle misses with a head kick.
Daley throws a head kick that misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Daley.

and Daley counters with a series of strikes. Hardcastle will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hardcastle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Daley's calf.

Hardcastle closes the distance and clinches.

Daley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hardcastle takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hardcastle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Daley finds it's way round the side to connect with Hardcastle's head.

That has opened up Christian Hardcastle's cut even more.

Hardcastle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hardcastle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

and Hardcastle counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Daley! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
