Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Austin Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Guansing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason comes into the arena with Say it to my face blaring out of the sound system. Austin Mason has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Austin Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Albert Guansing!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guansing napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mason decides to stand back up.
Guansing fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Guansing looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mason moves into the clinch.
Guansing throws an elbow but it misses.
A short right from Mason on the inside.
Guansing unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mason lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
A short body shot lands from Guansing as the two fighters clinch.
Guansing lands an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Guansing has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A short right from Mason on the inside.
Guansing tries a body shot but Mason blocks it.
Guansing throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mason blocks it with crossed arms.
Guansing is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mason misses with a hook from the clinch.
Guansing gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason jumps guard and drags Guansing to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Mason lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Guansing!
Mason in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mason with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mason controlling the pace for now.

Mason prevents Guansing from getting the reversal.
Mason looking to isolate an arm here. Guansing doesn't see it coming and as Mason extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mason!
