Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zabit Samedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davison's entrance music is Nowhere to run. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Zabit Samedov!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samedov shoots in looking for a takedown but Davison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Samedov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Samedov is defended easily by Davison.
Samedov throws a head kick but Davison moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Samedov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Davison.
Davison blocks a head kick by Samedov.
Samedov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davison connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Samedov scrambles back to his feet.
Davison cracks Samedov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Samedov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Davison finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davison closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Samedov's guard.
Samedov is rocked!
Davison pushes down on Samedov's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Samedov is still in real trouble! Can Davison finish him?
Davison wants to control but Samedov is keeping him busy.
Davison is working for an americana but Samedov has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Davison was thinking about the submission.
Davison throws a big right hand that misses.
Samedov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davison cracks Samedov with a solid left hand.
Davison landing with the ground and pound.
Davison throwing strikes but missing.
Davison working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Samedov's head.
Davison passes Samedov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Samedov is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davison blocks the strikes from Samedov.
Davison is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Davison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Samedov is just riding it out for now. Davison eventually gives up the hold.
Samedov wants to get back to full guard.
Davison throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Samedov seems to have recovered his senses.
Davison looks to land a strike but Samedov avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Davison is looking to stand up but Samedov won't let him.
Samedov throwing short punches from the bottom.
Davison throws a big elbow that misses.
Samedov striking off his back but it's not causing Davison any problems.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Samedov is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davison looking for a guillotine here but Samedov defends easily.
Samedov stands up from Davison's guard - Samedov perhaps looking for a knockout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Samedov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davison.

Davison drops Samedov with a huge uppercut! Samedov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Davison is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Davison!
During a confident post fight interview, Joe Davison thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
