Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adilbek Tumenbayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaiah Redmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adilbek Tumenbayev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Isaiah Redmon!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redmon throws a head kick that misses.
A nice combination there by Redmon.
Tumenbayev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Redmon.
Redmon shoots in looking for a takedown but Tumenbayev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Redmon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Redmon has a takedown stuffed.
Adilbek Tumenbayev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaiah Redmon.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Redmon.
Tumenbayev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Redmon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tumenbayev circles away from the clinch attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tumenbayev shoots for a double leg takedown but Redmon sprawls well. He's pushed Tumenbayev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Tumenbayev counters with a nice low kick that buckles Redmon's knee momentarily.
Redmon shoots in and drives through. Tumenbayev sprawls well.

Tumenbayev tries to land a knee to the head but Redmon blocks with his arms.

Tumenbayev crunches a lovely knee into Redmon's ribcage.
Tumenbayev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tumenbayev throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Tumenbayev breaks from the clinch.
Isaiah Redmon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Redmon darts in and clinches Tumenbayev up against the cage.

Tumenbayev misses with a body punch.
Tumenbayev tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Tumenbayev tries to pull guard but Redmon forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Tumenbayev is pressed up against the cage. Redmon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tumenbayev down to the mat. Tumenbayev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Tumenbayev keeps the fight on the outside.
Redmon fails with a takedown attempt.
Tumenbayev throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Redmon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Redmon in particular looking to stall.

Redmon escapes and gets back to his feet.
Redmon shoots in for a takedown but Tumenbayev shows good takedown defense.
Redmon fails to land the takedown.
Tumenbayev connects with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tumenbayev throws a head kick but Redmon moves out of range.
Redmon shoots in but no luck this time.
Tumenbayev lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Isaiah Redmon has been cut.
Tumenbayev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Redmon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Redmon looks for a takedown but Tumenbayev sprawls well.
Tumenbayev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Redmon moves into the clinch.
Tumenbayev tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Redmon avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Tumenbayev throws a shot from downtown. Redmon moves away and avoids it.

Redmon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Redmon seems to be working for a kimura but Tumenbayev defends the submission attempt.

Redmon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Redmon decides to return to a standing position.

Redmon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tumenbayev smiles and moves away.
Tumenbayev avoids a punch combination nicely.

A nice inside leg kick there by Tumenbayev. That's going to slow Redmon down.
Redmon throws a sloppy head kick
and Tumenbayev counters with a head kick. That will keep Redmon thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tumenbayev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Adilbek Tumenbayev is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Redmon is breathing heavily.

Redmon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tumenbayev is trying to defend but Redmon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Isaiah Redmon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Redmon shoots for a takedown but Tumenbayev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Redmon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Isaiah Redmon will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Redmon rushes Tumenbayev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A knee to the head by Tumenbayev.
Redmon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tumenbayev gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Redmon blocking some punches.
Redmon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tumenbayev using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Redmon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Tumenbayev throws an elbow but misses.

Tumenbayev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Redmon shoots in and bounces Tumenbayev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Redmon wants to control from the top but Tumenbayev keeps moving.

Tumenbayev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Redmon defends well.

Redmon gets to his feet. Tumenbayev looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Tumenbayev tries to land a knee to the head but Redmon blocks with his arms.
Tumenbayev is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Redmon to keep the fight standing.

Redmon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tumenbayev walks away with a smile on his face. Redmon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tumenbayev leaves Redmon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tumenbayev wants to clinch up but Redmon keeps it at a distance.

Redmon scores with a nice head shot.
No luck for Redmon with that takedown attempt.
Redmon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Redmon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Redmon wants it to stay on the feet.
Decent striking displayed by Redmon there.
Adilbek Tumenbayev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Redmon tries to clinch but Tumenbayev is having none of it.
Redmon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tumenbayev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Redmon somewhat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Isaiah Redmon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Redmon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
