The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez checks the leg kick.
Copley misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd cheers as Hernandez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Copley doesn't seem phased though.
Hernandez lands a left and a right that send Copley crashing to the mat, dazed. Hernandez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Copley is rocked!
It looks like Doug Copley has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Copley tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Copley is still on wobbly legs! Can Hernandez finish him?
Hernandez misses with the combination.
Copley scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Hale Hernandez has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Hernandez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hernandez fails to land with a series of punches.
Copley seems to have recovered his senses.
Hernandez throws a monster overhand right that drops Copley! Hernandez follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hale Hernandez!
After the fight, Hale Hernandez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
