The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glazebrook shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slade pinned against the cage. Slade gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Glazebrook shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Glazebrook misses with a takedown attempt - Slade sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peyton Glazebrook. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Glazebrook is looking to clinch but Slade is avoiding it.
Slade wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Glazebrook takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Glazebrook shoots for a double leg takedown but Slade sprawls well. He's pushed Glazebrook's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Slade throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Slade buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Slade lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Glazebrook shoots in for a takedown but Slade shows good takedown defense.

Nice takedown defense from Slade. No joy for Glazebrook on that attempt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Glazebrook. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Riessig Slade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Glazebrook. That did some damage!
Slade bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Glazebrook's head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Slade.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Glazebrook moves forwards but Slade connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Glazebrook shoots for a takedown but Slade saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
