The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schnell throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cavalcantti's head.
Schnell throws a body punch but Cavalcantti moves out of range.

Cavalcantti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schnell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Matt Schnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cavalcantti closes the distance and clinches up with Schnell, looking for a takedown. Cavalcantti pushes Schnell against the cage but Schnell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
