Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Learmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Learmont comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dj Medhi - Signatune kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson has a takedown stuffed.
Jefferson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Steve Learmont has been cut.
Jefferson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Jefferson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Learmont does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jefferson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Learmont scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jefferson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jefferson stands and salutes the crowd.
