Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Putnel!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putnel blocks a jab.
Putnel moves out of range as Drogo strikes.
Putnel gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like John Putnel has been cut.
Putnel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drogo.
A big left from Drogo misses.
Putnel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Drogo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Drogo tries to clinch but Putnel is having none of it.
Putnel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drogo circles away.
Drogo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Putnel throws a series of punches but Drogo moves out of range.
Putnel throws a head kick that half lands.
Conan Drogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putnel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drogo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Drogo is trying to get back to half guard.
Putnel landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drogo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Drogo is trying to work for a sweep but Putnel has mounted him!
Drogo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Drogo tries to get out of the position.
Putnel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Drogo is bucking up trying to escape but Putnel cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drogo tries to reverse the position but Putnel maintains control.
Putnel controlling his opponent.
Putnel prevents Drogo from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Putnel is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Drogo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Putnel with a couple of short strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drogo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Drogo is trying to reverse the position but instead Putnel has taken his back - oops!
Drogo is in bad spot here.
Putnel is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Drogo won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Putnel off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Putnel!
John Putnel took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Who ever the Heavyweight Champion is i c=just wanted to tell you that....Im coming for you and that belt!!!'.
