Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leopold Stotch will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Bashor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leopold Stotch! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stotch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stotch lands a two punch combo.
Bashor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stotch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bashor eats them both and turns towards Stotch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Jason Bashor has been cut. Leopold Stotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stotch swinging wildly here.

Bashor is rocked! Bashor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stotch but Stotch pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stotch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Oh Bashor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stotch seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bashor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bashor seems to have got his legs back now. Stotch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bashor's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bashor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Stotch with a flurry of punches that miss. Stotch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bashor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Stotch trying to control but Bashor is working from the bottom. Stotch looking to sit in guard and control but Bashor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stotch wants to stand and escape but Bashor is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bashor showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Stotch is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Stotch has picked Bashor up - he's going for a ride! Stotch dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bashor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bashor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bashor is trying to keep Stotch in close.
Stotch keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bashor's head. Stotch trying to move into half guard but instead Bashor has managed to sweep! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stotch wants to get back to his feet but Bashor passes into half guard.
Bashor stops Stotch from getting back to his feet.
Stotch is defending against the submission attempts here by Bashor.
Stotch is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bashor wants to control but Stotch is keeping him busy. Bashor content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Stotch is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leopold Stotch dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Bashor's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bashor scores with a takedown into Stotch's guard. Bashor stops Stotch from standing up. Stotch wriggles free and stands up. Stotch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bashor was covering up waiting for the punch and Stotch finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stotch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bashor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stotch content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bashor has locked up a guillotine! Bashor's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Stotch is holding on here and Bashor must be using up a lot of energy. Stotch has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bashor gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jason Bashor!
