Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Anderton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sahebt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luiz Anderton!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Sahebt!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sahebt but Sahebt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No joy there for Anderton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Anderton gets caught napping as Sahebt dives in and scores a takedown. Anderton manages to retain guard.
Anderton wants to sweep but no luck.
Anderton has a closed guard, preventing Sahebt from standing up.
Anderton looking for a sweep. Not yet Anderton, not yet.
Sahebt tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderton is retaining full guard.
Sahebt is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Sahebt drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Anderton dives on top into guard.

Sahebt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Anderton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sahebt has his foot on Anderton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderton works his way back into a safe position though.
Sahebt is wriggling around but Anderton manages to pass to half guard.

Anderton wants to take a breather but Sahebt is having none of it.

Sahebt wants to stand up but Anderton is controlling him.

Sahebt doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderton circles away.

Sahebt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sahebt decides to stand back up. Sahebt steps back and let's Anderton get back to his feet.
Sahebt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderton tries to avoid it but Sahebt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderton to the ground. Anderton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like Luiz Anderton has been cut.

Anderton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sahebt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sahebt has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Anderton has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

James Sahebt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sahebt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
