2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wyjebany Marek! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Hinton. Those never looked like landing. Hinton gets a clinch. Hinton tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Marek avoids it. Marek on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hinton tries to circle away but Marek has him pinned against the cage. Hinton is trying to break the clinch but Marek is controlling him. Hinton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hinton pulls guard effortlessly. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Marek stands up from Hinton's guard - Marek perhaps looking for a knockout. Marek throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hinton. Hinton throws a low kick but Marek avoids it.
