4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Middleton! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Middleton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sakuba really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Middleton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sakuba to the mat! Sakuba manages to get full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Middleton controls from within his opponent's guard. Sakuba looking for a triangle here. Middleton is fighting it but it looks tight! Sakuba pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Middleton is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mirkai Sakuba! A determined Mirkai Sakuba didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
