Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mitchell Pearsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurt Summers! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearsen tries to clinch but Summers moves out of range. Summers tries a head kick but it misses.
Pearsen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Summers circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pearsen throws out a loose jab but Summers uses good head movement to avoid it. Summers gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mitchell Pearsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Summers is looking to clinch but Pearsen is avoiding it.
Pearsen misses with a hook. Summers ducked under it nicely. Summers throws a head kick but Pearsen moves out of range.
Pearsen lands an overhand right. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pearsen catches Summers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Summers blocks an uppercut.

Pearsen lands a big uppercut and Summers crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Summers looks OK. Pearsen waves Summers back to his feet!

Summers's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pearsen. Summers lands a hook to the side of the head. Summers holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Pearsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Summers has him pressed against the cage. Summers misses with a hook from the clinch. Pearsen can't break the clinch.

Good exchange - Summers coming out on top. Summers takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Pearsen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pearsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Summers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pearsen.
Summers takes a swing at Pearsen's ribcage but misses. Pearsen moves into the clinch. Summers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pearsen thows a left - swing and a miss! Summers throws a nice looking combination but Pearsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A head kick misses from Summers. Pearsen darts in and clinches Summers up against the cage. Summers is trying to stall.

Pearsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pearsen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Summers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Summers tries to clinch but fails miserably and Summers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pearsen catches Summers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pearsen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Summers takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pearsen tries to clinch but Summers moves away and Summers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Pearsen is lucky that one didn't land flush. Pearsen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Summers can do to turn this around? Summers looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Pearsen jabs at Summers's body. Pearsen swats away the attempt to clinch by Summers. Summers moves forwards but Pearsen connects with a nice, crisp jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Summers takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Summers avoids the body shot from Pearsen.
Pearsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Summers sprawling to the canvas! Summers rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pearsen finish him?!
Summers switches off momentarily and Pearsen cracks him with a monster right hand! Summers topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Pearsen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Pearsen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mitchell Pearsen! Post fight, Mitchell Pearsen took to the microphone: 'I'm flying back to Sydney and I'm gonna get my drink on! Woooooooo!'.
