The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Blanco displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Po throws out the jab.
Po works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Po tries to work over Blanco's front leg with a kick but Blanco checks it.

Po looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Po keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Decent striking displayed by Po there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Po staggers Blanco with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Blanco looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
Blanco wants to land a leg kick but Po is out of range.
Po thows a left - swing and a miss!
Po lands with a kick to the ribs.

A slapping body kick lands there for Blanco.

and Blanco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Po moves away from the strike by Blanco.
Po lands a nice shot to the body.
Po misses with a looping left.
Po has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blanco finds it's way round the side to connect with Po's head.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Po. Blanco shrugs it off though.
Blanco is breathing heavily.

Po lands a front kick to the face, that drops Blanco to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Po cracks Blanco with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Blanco get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Blanco looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Po scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Blanco beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Blanco is rocked!
Po lands a right hook to the body.
Po throws a low kick but Blanco moves out of range easily.

Po throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Po closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Blanco crashing to the mat! Blanco uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Oh Blanco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Po lands a right hook to the body.
Blanco tries to get into range but Po steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Blanco! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Po scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tong Po!
Tong Po bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
