Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Von Prawn! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chambers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Chambers is taking a breather. Von Prawn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Chambers thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Von Prawn wants to get back to his feet. Chambers stands up from half guard. Von Prawn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Von Prawn. Von Prawn throws a hook but Chambers avoids it easily. Chambers leaves Von Prawn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chambers lands a left and a right that send Von Prawn crashing to the mat, dazed. Chambers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Von Prawn is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Von Prawn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Von Prawn wants it to stay on the feet. Chambers keeps the fight on the outside. Von Prawn tries to clinch up. Chambers defending well as Von Prawn loads up on a big left hand. Von Prawn tries to close the distance and clinch but Chambers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chambers tries for a takedown but Von Prawn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chambers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Chambers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chambers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chambers avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice sprawl there from Von Prawn as Chambers shoots in. Von Prawn closes the distance but Chambers moves to the side and Chambers counters by moving into the clinch. Chambers drags the fight down to the ground.
Von Prawn wanted to stand there but Chambers had control of the position. Von Prawn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Von Prawn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Von Prawn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Von Prawn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Chambers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Von Prawn's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chambers stands up and waves to Von Prawn to follow him. Von Prawn tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Chambers counters with a nice double leg into guard. Chambers throws a big elbow that misses. Chambers gets to his feet. Von Prawn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Von Prawn avoids the head kick by Chambers.
Chambers is breathing heavily. Chambers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Von Prawn but Von Prawn pushes him off and we're back to square one. The fight stays on the outside here - Von Prawn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Von Prawn shoots in for a double leg but Chambers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Von Prawn tries to clinch up. Von Prawn stuffs the takedown. Chambers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chambers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Von Prawn is trying to stand up here but Chambers is controlling him well. Von Prawn pushes Chambers off and gets back to his feet. Von Prawn takes the fight into the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Von Prawn tries to stall but Chambers uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Von Prawn wants to clinch but Chambers slips to the side and Chambers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Von Prawn's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Chambers dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chambers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Von Prawn paws at him with a jab and circles away. A left and a right from Chambers both land. Nice combination. Von Prawn tries to clinch but fails miserably and Chambers holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Von Prawn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chambers pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chambers stuns Von Prawn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Horrible takedown by Chambers or perhaps it was just good defense by Von Prawn which made him look bad. Nice takedown defense from Chambers. No joy for Von Prawn on that attempt. Chambers throws a head kick that misses. Von Prawn is looking to clinch but Chambers is avoiding it.
Chambers tries for a takedown but Von Prawn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Von Prawn tries to clinch there but Chambers circles away.
Chambers dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Von Prawn fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Von Prawn. A head kick misses from Chambers. Chambers moves away from the strike by Von Prawn. Von Prawn moves to clinch but Chambers breaks away and Chambers counters with a shoot takedown. Von Prawn fights it but they end up in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chambers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Von Prawn wants to stand and escape but Chambers is having none of it. Von Prawn has momentary wrist control but Chambers slips an elbow through the middle. Chambers stops Von Prawn from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chambers advances position into side control! George Chambers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chambers wants to control but Von Prawn is keeping him busy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chambers stands up and beckons Von Prawn to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Von Prawn is defended easily by Chambers. George Chambers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Von Prawn. Chambers shoots in for a takedown but Von Prawn shows good takedown defense. The fight moves into the clinch position. Von Prawn has a couple of punches blocked by Chambers.

Von Prawn tries to pull guard but Chambers forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Chambers blocks an elbow strike. Von Prawn prevents Chambers from breaking the clinch. Von Prawn jumps guard but Chambers stands there with Von Prawn around his waist. Von Prawn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Chambers is trying to break the clinch but Von Prawn is controlling him. Chambers has Von Prawn pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chambers pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Von Prawn tumbling to the mat - Chambers dives into Von Prawn's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chambers scoring with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chambers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chambers lands in his opponent's guard. Chambers is pushing down on Von Prawn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Von Prawn is fighting to maintain full guard but Chambers has managed to sneak the leg through. Chambers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Von Prawn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chambers in particular looking to stall. Von Prawn is trying to stand.

The ref stands the fighters back up because George Chambers just wasn't active enough. Von Prawn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chambers stuffs the takedown attempt from Von Prawn. Von Prawn gets slowly back to his feet. Von Prawn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Von Prawn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chambers paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chambers slips under a jab. Chambers lands with a good body shot.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Von Prawn can do anything to dispel that myth. Chambers lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Von Prawn is squirming around, avoiding Chambers's attempts to control the action. Von Prawn is trying to escape the mount but Chambers keeps good control and instead manages to take Von Prawn's back.
Chambers wants to control but Von Prawn is keeping busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chambers has his arm under Von Prawn's chin here. Game over son! Chambers squeezes tightly and Von Prawn is forced to tap out!
