The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenov fails to land the takedown.
Both fighters circling a little - Taylor finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Semenov shoots in but no luck this time.
Semenov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taylor avoids it really well and circles away.
James Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitry Semenov.
Semenov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Semenov misses with a jab, cross combination.

Taylor is desperately trying to improve his position but Semenov has a good base and remains in mount.
