The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu thows a body shot but no joy.
Ives rushes Yu and presses him up against the cage.
Yu with a knee to the head.
It looks like Johnny Ives has been cut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Yu just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ives's brow.
Ives lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Jack Yu has been cut.
Yu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Yu trying to control the position but instead, Ives has worked for underhooks and has pushed Yu into the cage.
Yu fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ives being controlled against the cage.
Yu tries to throw a body punch but Ives avoids it by throwing Yu back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Yu.
Ives lands an uppercut.
Yu lands a left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head punch on the inside from Ives fails to land.
Yu takes an elbow to the temple.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ives.
That has opened up Jack Yu's cut even more.
A body shot lands from Ives.

Ives prevents a body shot from Yu.
Yu scores with a shoulder strike.
Yu has a couple of punches blocked by Ives.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ives.
Ives blocking some punches.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ives just misses with a elbow thrown towards Yu's brow.
Yu tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ives lands a hook that snaps the head of Yu backwards.
The cut above Jack Yu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ives misses with a punch on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Yu misses with the head strike.
Ives blocks an uppercut.
Yu lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ives.
Ives doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ives lands an elbow inside.
Jack Yu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Yu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
