Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jayden Mai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Pariss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mai comes to the cage accompanied by One. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pariss takes one to the chin there.
Mai throws a lazy right hand but Pariss sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pariss catches Mai with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A jab from Pariss finds it's way through Mai's defenses.
Mai sizes up Pariss with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mai throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pariss misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pariss bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pariss scores with the left hand. Mai knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Jayden Mai has been cut.
Mai looks for a takedown but Pariss sprawls well.
Mai throws a hook but Pariss avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pariss sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mai misses with a few strikes there.
Mai misses with a takedown
and Pariss counters with a nice uppercut.

Mai misses with a series of wild punches.
Mai shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pariss counters with a left and a right that stings Mai.
Mai is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jayden Mai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mai is breathing heavily.
Pariss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pariss dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Pariss lands a big uppercut and Mai crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mai looks OK. Pariss waves Mai back to his feet!
Oh Mai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pariss circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mai to the canvas! Mai doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Pariss keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
