Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen ridda as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Roberts is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Roberts drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bell gets the underhooks and prevents it.
with the fighters clinched against the ropes, Bell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Roberts is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Roberts is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bell off and has taken his back!

Roberts patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Bell wants to control his opponent's hands but Roberts gets his hands free.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Roberts is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bell is defending well though. Roberts let's go of the attempt for now.

Roberts has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Roberts is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bell has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roberts is trying to stick to Bell's back but Bell is turning into Roberts. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Roberts's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bell.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Roberts looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bell has picked Roberts up and slammed him! Roberts can't keep hold of the triangle and Bell manages to pass to side control!

And that's the end of the fight!
Jake Roberts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
