Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daryl Escarpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarl Slivkoniv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escarpe has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slivkoniv is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Escarpe's half guard.
Escarpe is breathing heavily.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Slivkoniv is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Escarpe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Slivkoniv drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slivkoniv jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Escarpe has his foot on Slivkoniv's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slivkoniv works his way back into a safe position though.

Well Slivkoniv has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
