Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Rudolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Rudolph! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rudolph shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jones is trying to keep Rudolph in close.
Rudolph working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rudolph's guard. Jones wants to pass the guard but Rudolph is keeping the position. Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jones wants to control from the top but Rudolph keeps moving. Rudolph really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rudolph is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rudolph keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Travis Jones. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rudolph swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones tries to clinch but Rudolph moves out of range. A punch combination from Jones misses. Jones is looking to clinch. Rudolph takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rudolph counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now. Rudolph working some strikes from top position. Rudolph postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones controls Rudolph momentarily but Rudolph frees himself. Rudolph wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rudolph wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Rudolph tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rudolph is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rudolph to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rudolph shrugs it off. Jones goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rudolph turns into him and now he's in Jones's guard.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Rudolph wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones keeping full guard, as Rudolph tries to pass. Rudolph lands a couple of digs. Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rudolph is aware though and is defending well. Rudolph trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones wants to sweep here but Rudolph controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rudolph trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rudolph doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rudolph manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones is trying to control the position but Rudolph postures up. Rudolph stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rudolph is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rudolph passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jones keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Travis Jones will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rudolph on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Christian Rudolph has been cut. Travis Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones blocks a low kick nicely. Rudolph drives through with a takedown into guard. Rudolph postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Rudolph trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rudolph scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones has his hands on Rudolph's head, controlling the position. Rudolph wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rudolph's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones being controlled here momentarily. Jones looking to pass the guard. Rudolph is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Christian Rudolph. Rudolph takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rudolph takes one to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rudolph fails with the takedown. Jones wants to clinch. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rudolph. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rudolph swats him away and circles back towards the center. Good shot there by Jones. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rudolph circles away from the clinch attempt and Rudolph counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Rudolph not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jones on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones has hold of Rudolph's hands but Rudolph slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jones gets back to full guard.

Rudolph is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rudolph gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jones keeping moving, preventing Rudolph from controlling successfully. Rudolph must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones is trying to keep Rudolph in close.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones is looking for a triangle but Rudolph pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rudolph throwing strikes but missing. Rudolph working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Rudolph postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rudolph trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rudolph tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rudolph gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rudolph with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Jones dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Christian Rudolph's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

No, Rudolph has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. Rudolph won't allow Jones to sweep him here. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Rudolph postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rudolph wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jones can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rudolph controls the pace. Rudolph trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jones is pulling down on Rudolph's head. It's preventing any offense from Rudolph, at least for the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rudolph steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. Jones takes the fight into the clinch. Rudolph leaning his opponent against the cage. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones has his hands on Rudolph's head, controlling the position. Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rudolph defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rudolph is defending well. Jones quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rudolph has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jones celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
