Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bj Becks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Cole! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole lands a slapping body shot.
Becks scores with a jab. Cole acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Cole throws a right and a left that Becks avoids nicely. Cole swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cole scores with a hook to the body. Becks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cole connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Becks moves into the clinch. Cole tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cole tries to pull guard but Becks holds him up against the cage and eventually Cole drops back down to his feet.
Cole is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Becks to keep the fight standing. Bj Becks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Cole. A bit of stalling here from Becks.
Becks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Becks shoots in and bounces Cole off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Becks cracks Cole with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole has his foot on Becks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Becks works his way back into a safe position though. Cole looking for a guillotine here but Becks defends easily.
Becks stands up over Cole, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Becks trying to control but Cole is working from the bottom. Becks with a flurry of punches that miss. Cole throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Becks escapes and throws Cole's legs to the side, diving into side control! Becks working the body and head with strikes. Becks taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Becks lands an elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Becks working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Becks in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Cole is rocked! Becks in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Cole looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Becks turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
