Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between OK Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter comes to the cage accompanied by Pawn Shop - Sublime. Smith has chosen Criminal Minded as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, OK Fighter!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julio Smith!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fighter.
Smith misses with the combination.
Fighter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
An inside leg kick lands from Fighter.
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fighter counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Smith throws a nice head kick!
It looks like OK Fighter has been cut.
Smith lands a jab to the head.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Fighter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fighter, right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fighter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Julio Smith has been cut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Fighter.
Smith throws a head kick but Fighter moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Fighter.
Smith finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Fighter misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smith under the eye.
Smith staying out of range there.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fighter finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Fighter has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smith.
A swing and a miss from Fighter.
A shot to the body from Smith misses
and Fighter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Fighter throws a shot from downtown. Smith moves away and avoids it.
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fighter avoids a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter throws a leg kick but Smith checks it.
Fighter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fighter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fighter with a nice cross.

Fighter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fighter lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fighter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Smith lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A chopping leg kick lands by Fighter.
Fighter lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fighter.
Fighter connects with a leg kick. Smith looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Smith throws a combination that misses
enabling Fighter to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith moves out of range as Fighter strikes.
Fighter scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Smith keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Fighter as he connects with a hook.
Smith is rocked!
Fighter lands with a cross.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Fighter finish him?

Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fighter.
Fighter cracks Smith on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Smith falls backwards against the cage. Fighter follows up with more strikes that drop Smith to his knees. Fighter keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Smith! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). OK Fighter!
OK Fighter retains his middleweight title!
OK Fighter decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
