Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iokua Mikala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockford Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight has chosen The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mikala's head backwards.

It looks like Iokua Mikala has been cut.
Knight closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mikala counters with a leg kick.
Knight darts in trying to clinch
and Mikala counters with a big head kick but Knight shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knight lands with an uppercut that bounces Mikala off the cage and back into range.
Mikala throws a poor cross that misses
and Knight finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Mikala is breathing heavily.

Knight sends Mikala crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Knight is motioning to the referee to let Mikala up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Mikala is rocked!
Knight darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Mikala's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Knight before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
