Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Saxon Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azrael Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Doom. Azrael Hunter has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Saxon Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Azrael Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tries to clinch up but Hunter circles away and keeps his distance.
Saxon Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hunter to the mat! Hunter manages to get full guard.
Hunter thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hunter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hunter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harris is controlling him.
Harris slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunter throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hunter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hunter wants to control the pace but Harris is squirming around nicely.
Harris is trying to escape the mount but Hunter keeps good control and instead manages to take Harris's back.

Hunter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harris kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Harris wants to control the position but Hunter says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Azrael Hunter has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harris misses with a takedown attempt - Hunter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hunter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Hunter finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Poor strikes thrown by Hunter there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunter on the ground.
