Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Fernan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temujin Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick murphys - drink and fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fails to land the takedown.
Black connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fernan's hands.
Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fernan's waist but Fernan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.
A slapping body kick lands there for Black.
Black gets tackled into the cage by Fernan. Fernan maintains the clinch.
Fernan blocks an uppercut.
Fernan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Black jabs Fernan right on the nose. Fernan blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Robert Fernan has been cut.

Fernan is nestled in close to Black, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Black tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fernan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Black shoots in for a takedown but Fernan shows good takedown defense.

Black tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Black has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Black is looking to take a break and control but Fernan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fernan loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Black scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Fernan land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Fernan stands and salutes the crowd.
