Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Saadulaev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teste Torneio! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saadulaev digs a good body shot into Torneio's ribs. Torneio misses with a body shot.
Donk. Saadulaev catches Torneio right on the button with a cross. Torneio scores with a hook. Torneio throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Saadulaev on the side of the head. Saadulaev misses with a hook. Torneio ducked under it nicely. Torneio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saadulaev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Torneio manages to avoid it. Saadulaev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Torneio misses with a looping left. Saadulaev throws a sloppy body shot
and Torneio counters with a stiff right hand. Torneio lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A swing and a miss from Saadulaev. Torneio is looking to clinch but Saadulaev is avoiding it.
Saadulaev misses the jab. Torneio takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Saadulaev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Torneio can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Saadulaev lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torneio is rocked! Saadulaev is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Torneio can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Torneio is still in real trouble! Can Saadulaev finish him? Torneio takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Saadulaev's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
