Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Reinegger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Reinegger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Lawler! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reinegger shoots in and bounces Lawler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lawler is looking to stand up but Reinegger isn't so interested in that idea. Lawler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reinegger controls the pace. Reinegger wants to pass the guard but Lawler is keeping the position. Reinegger gets to his feet - Lawler follows without any prompting. Lawler misses with a takedown so Reinegger counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reinegger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lawler trying to keep a closed guard but Reinegger is proving a slippery customer.
Reinegger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lawler wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Reinegger is now in half guard. Reinegger uses his free foot to push down on Lawler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lawler.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Reinegger avoids the attempt from Lawler to control. Reinegger controlling from the full mount. Reinegger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawler wants to control but Reinegger is having none of it. Lawler is desperately trying to improve his position but Reinegger has a good base and remains in mount. Lawler wants to control but Reinegger is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lawler is wriggling around trying to escape.
Reinegger controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lawler wants to control but Reinegger is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Reinegger dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lawler has his takedown stuffed and Reinegger counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Reinegger controlling the pace. Lawler wants to improve his position but Reinegger is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reinegger decides to stand and escape the position. Lawler throws a combination that misses and Reinegger counters with a shoot takedown. Lawler fights it but they end up in guard. Reinegger stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lawler falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reinegger counters with a single leg into guard. Lawler didn't expect that. Lawler is breathing heavily. Lawler looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reinegger gets to his feet. Lawler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lawler throws a leg kick and Reinegger counters with a single leg into guard. Lawler didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawler wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Reinegger manages to pass to side control. Reinegger decides to return to a standing position. Reinegger with a lazy takedown attempt and Lawler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reinegger's guard now. Reinegger kicks Lawler off and gets to his feet. Reinegger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Reinegger showed some decent athleticism there. Reinegger is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reinegger stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Reinegger darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Tom Reinegger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lawler is looking for a sweep. Reinegger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reinegger keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Reinegger decides to stand and escape the position. Lawler closes the distance but Reinegger moves to the side and Reinegger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Reinegger. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lawler pulls Reinegger in close to his closed guard and prevents Reinegger from doing any damage or advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Reinegger dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Lawler shoots and misses and Reinegger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Reinegger. Lawler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lawler is working an open guard so Reinegger takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tom Reinegger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reinegger tries for a takedown but Lawler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Reinegger shoots in and bounces Lawler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lawler looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Reinegger puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Lawler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reinegger looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lawler wants to stand back up but Reinegger manages to pass into side control.
Reinegger happy to just control the position for now. Lawler is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee asks Reinegger politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Reinegger prefers to stall for the moment though. Reinegger working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
You can see the frustration on Lawler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Reinegger works to advance to full mount. Lawler defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Reinegger content just to control the position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reinegger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Reinegger showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reinegger, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
