Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Paru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pound Ground (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Paru might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tropa de Elite, osso duro de roer. On his way into the cage it seems that Jose Paru has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jose Paru seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paru moves out of range of the body kick.
Paru misses with a kick to the body.
Paru fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ground sprawls well initially but Paru persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Paru is looking for a kimura here.
Paru frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ground is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ground takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Paru unloading with bombs!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Paru cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ground is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paru loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ground scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Paru land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Paru stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Paru!
