Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hakuma Hariyuoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yugi Kantana!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hariyuoki misses with a right hand
and Kantana counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kantana is looking to pass Hariyuoki's guard but actually Hariyuoki recovers to full guard.
Kantana stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kantana paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Hakuma Hariyuoki has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice combination there by Kantana.
Hariyuoki misses with an uppercut. Kantana saw that one coming.
Horrible takedown by Kantana or perhaps it was just good defense by Hariyuoki which made him look bad.
Kantana takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kantana closes the distance and clinches up with Hariyuoki, looking for a takedown. Kantana pushes Hariyuoki against the cage but Hariyuoki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kantana looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hakuma Hariyuoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yugi Kantana.
Kantana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hariyuoki swivels and escapes.
Kantana looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hariyuoki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Yugi Kantana has been cut.
Kantana bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kantana steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hariyuoki.
Hariyuoki circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kantana to the canvas! Kantana doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hariyuoki keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hakuma Hariyuoki!
