Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shank Flabbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flabbott comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shank Flabbott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Aerts! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aerts misses with a hook. Flabbott ducked under it nicely. Aerts misses with a kick to the body.
Flabbott shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Aerts is trying to defend but Flabbott finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Flabbott is stalling here. Aerts is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Flabbott seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Aerts has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Flabbott tries to bench press Aerts off him but Aerts keeps the position. Flabbott is not content to let Aerts control the position. Flabbott is looking for a sweep.

Peter Aerts has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Aerts explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Flabbott fails in his attempt to clinch. Aerts looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Flabbott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Flabbott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Aerts - the referee stops the clock and Flabbott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Aerts. Flabbott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Aerts misses with a hook. Flabbott throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Good standup being displayed there by Aerts as he connects with a hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice inside leg kick there by Aerts. That's going to slow Flabbott down. Flabbott shoots in and drives through. Aerts sprawls well. Flabbott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Flabbott takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Aerts throws a hook but Flabbott avoids it easily. Aerts lets loose with a powerful body kick. Flabbott will feel that in the morning. Flabbott is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aerts.

Aerts fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flabbott manages to avoid it. Aerts connects with a single shot there. Aerts scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flabbott doesn't seem bothered though. Aerts tries to land a front kick but Flabbott steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A left lands for Aerts. Aerts misses with a looping left. Peter Aerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aerts lands a nice hook to Flabbott's body. Flabbott takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Aerts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Aerts throws a sloppy head kick and Flabbott moves out of range easily. Aerts throws a wild body kick that Flabbott sees coming a mile off. Aerts scores with a sloppy right hand. Flabbott should have avoided that one. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Aerts fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Flabbott on the side of the head. Flabbott takes a jab right on the kisser.
Flabbott tries to clinch up but Aerts circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flabbott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Aerts lands the left hand. Aerts takes a swing at Flabbott's ribcage but misses. Flabbott gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Flabbott walks into a left hand. Aerts connects with a body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Flabbott just misses with a punch to the body.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aerts's guard. Flabbott is looking to work some ground and pound but Aerts has wrist control. Aerts is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Flabbott drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aerts manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Flabbott has Aerts in his guard. Aerts wants to control from the top but Flabbott keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flabbott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter Aerts hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Aerts lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Flabbott throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A looping hook to the body misses from Flabbott. Aerts does a little dance to reset his feet. Aerts is looking to slow Flabbott down with leg kicks. Aerts moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Aerts avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Flabbott looks to land a left hand but Aerts moved out of range nicely. Good leg kick by Aerts there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Aerts fakes the leg kick and cracks Flabbott in the body. Flabbott will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Aerts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Flabbott was well out of range. Poor timing from Aerts. An inside leg kick lands from Aerts. Flabbott takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Peter Aerts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice body kick there by Aerts. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aerts. A shot to the liver by Aerts. Beautiful body shot. Flabbott is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Aerts turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Aerts is looking to land body kicks. Aerts lands a nice looking body shot.
Flabbott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Aerts throws out the jab. Flabbott takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aerts throws a front kick that sends Flabbott stumbling back into the cage. Aerts lands with a cross. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Aerts lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Aerts lands with a nice body kick. Flabbott shoots in for a double leg but Aerts sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Aerts scores with a kick to the midsection. Nice body punch from Aerts. Flabbott looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Aerts scores with a decent looking hook. Aerts connects with a right hand. Flabbott shakes it off. Flabbott takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Aerts thumps Flabbott with a low kick. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Aerts. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Aerts dips to his left and cracks Flabbott with an uppercut! Flabbott has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Aerts. A punch lands to the side of Flabbott 's head but he takes it in his stride.
